Eijsink and Hospitality Digital join forces
On 31.03.2022 Metro AG announced the acquisition of POS provider Eijsink, which will be integrated into HD. The new combined company will be able to better support the needs of restaurant owners and help them to profit from the benefits of digitalization.
Eijsink provides Point of Sale (POS) systems for the hospitality industry to around 8,000 customers, mainly in Benelux. The company’s “booq” POS cloud-based solution is device-independent and enables the connection of numerous digital tools developed and offered by HD.

Point-of-sale solution DISH POS launched in France
As part of the ongoing implementation of METRO's sCore growth strategy, METRO's digital subsidiary Hospitality Digital has reached an important milestone. Only 10 months after the successful takeover and post-merger integration of the Dutch market leader Eijsink, HD is starting the rollout of the integrated POS solution DISH POS in France, and in mid- January it is being presented to a broad audience for the first time at the Sirha Lyon gastronomy and food trade fair.
